Color Match Game
Rate itStudy a colour for a few seconds, then rebuild it from memory, five times a day.
Every day: Five colour rounds a day, the same scenes and colours in the same order for everyone, with a verified daily leaderboard. New puzzle: Midnight UTC.

Color Match Game is a daily colour memory test. Each of the day's five rounds highlights one part of an illustration for a few seconds, and you then recreate its colour with hue, saturation and brightness controls. Your match is scored out of 100 and the day's results go on a shared leaderboard.
About Color Match Game
Color Match Game is a browser game about remembering colour. Every day at midnight UTC the date picks five of its 30 illustrated scenes and pairs each with a colour from a library of 216, so every player sees the same scenes and colours in the same order.
A round has three parts. First you study the highlighted detail: ten seconds in the first round, one second less in each round after, down to six. Then the colour is gone and you rebuild it with three controls for hue, saturation and brightness. Finally the two colours are shown side by side with your score.
The score comes from the CIEDE2000 colour difference, which follows how different two colours look to the eye rather than raw slider distance. Ninety and above counts as a near match, while under fifty means you landed in a different colour family. The site points out that screens and lighting change what you see, so scores compare best on the same device.
It is free with no account or download. Besides the daily set there is unlimited practice, which does not touch your daily score or streak, and private challenge links that give friends the same five rounds.
How to play Color Match Game
- Open the site and choose Play today's challenge.
- Study the highlighted colour in the illustration before the timer runs out.
- Rebuild the colour from memory with the hue, saturation and brightness controls.
- Reveal the answer to compare the two colours and see your score out of 100.
- Play all five rounds, then share your total or check the daily leaderboard.
Tips
- Set the hue family first, then brightness, and leave saturation for last.
- Compare the colour with nearby whites, greys and darks in the scene to judge how light it was.
- Memory tends to exaggerate intensity, so a slightly less vivid setting is often closer.
- Play on the same screen with the same brightness to make day-to-day scores comparable.
