HUES

Every day: The Daily Hue: one numbered set of five target colours a day, the same for every player, to match by eye against the clock and share as colour squares. New puzzle: Midnight in your local time zone.

Hues is a daily colour matching game. A target colour appears and you slide a colour pad and a hue strip until your swatch looks the same, locking it in before the timer ends. The Daily Hue gives everyone the same five colours, and you can share your result as a row of squares.
About HUES
Hues tests how well you can see and recreate a colour. Each round puts a target swatch beside your own. You drag across a pad and along a hue strip to change yours, then press Lock it in when the two look alike. There is no numeric readout to lean on: you match by eye.
Scoring rewards both accuracy and speed. A lock-in that is close to the target scores well, a dead-on match adds a precision bonus, and locking in quickly adds a speed bonus. If the clock runs out first you keep only the base points and lose every bonus, so hesitating has a cost.
The Daily Hue is one numbered set of five colours, the same for everyone, and it changes at midnight on your own clock. When you finish you get a grid of squares comparing each target with your attempt, ready to share, and playing on consecutive days builds a streak. Beside the daily there is an Endless mode with difficulty levels from Easy to Hard, a pass-and-play Versus mode for two, daily goals that earn coins and a shop of cosmetic borders.
It suits players who like colour games such as slider and hex matching puzzles, and anyone who wants a quick daily test of their eye.
How to play HUES
- Choose Daily Hue on the menu.
- Look at the target colour shown beside your swatch.
- Drag on the colour pad and the hue strip until your swatch matches the target.
- Press Lock it in before the clock runs out.
- Play all five rounds, then share your colour squares.
Tips
- Set the hue strip first, then fine-tune lightness and saturation on the pad.
- Lock in once you are close: a timeout throws away every bonus.
- Judge colours against the dark background the same way each round rather than staring too long.
- Practise in Endless mode on Easy before trying the daily.
