Palette (Stoop Games)
Mix one colour a day with RGB or CMY sliders and get one shot to match it.
Every day: One numbered target colour a day, the same for every player in the world: mix it with RGB or CMY sliders and submit once, scored up to 10,000 by how close it looks. New puzzle: Midnight.

Palette is a free daily colour-matching game from Stoop Games. A target colour sits beside your mix, you drag red, green and blue (or cyan, magenta and yellow) sliders to match it, and you submit once. The score, up to 10,000, comes from Delta-E, a measure of how different two colours look to the eye.
About Palette (Stoop Games)
Palette gives everyone the same colour each day and a single attempt at it. The target is shown on the left and your mix on the right, with sliders below. You can mix in RGB, the additive model used by screens, or switch to CMY, the subtractive model used in printing, at any time; both control the same colour. The hex value of your mix updates as you go.
When you submit, the game measures the gap with Delta-E, which tracks how different two colours look to people rather than how far apart their numbers are. A Delta-E under 1 earns the full 10,000 points and the title Chromatic Genius; under 3 is Colour Expert, about what commercial printers call a good match; above 12 drops below 8,800. The page also shows yesterday's average score and the best score ever.
There is no play-again for the daily colour, and a streak resets if you miss a day. The puzzles are numbered, and a new one is published at midnight.
Palette is one of several small games by Stoop Games, which also makes DailyGuessr, FlagGuessr, CocktailGuessr, Bloom and Sortl. It suits players who like Hexcodle or the Dialed colour test and want a one-minute daily check of their eye.
How to play Palette (Stoop Games)
- Open palette.stoop.games and study the target colour on the left.
- Drag the sliders to mix your colour on the right, in RGB or CMY mode.
- Watch the hex value of your mix to fine-tune it.
- Press Submit; you get one shot per day.
- Read your Delta-E and score out of 10,000, and come back tomorrow for the next colour.
Tips
- Decide first whether the target is warm or cool, then set the strongest channel.
- Use CMY mode for muted, earthy tones; it is often easier for paint-like colours.
- A Delta-E under 3 already puts you in the top tier, so do not chase perfection at the cost of overshooting.
Questions
How many tries do I get in Palette?
One. Each daily colour allows a single submission.
Is the Palette colour the same for everyone?
Yes. A new target colour is published at midnight, the same for every player.
How is Palette scored?
With Delta-E, a measure of perceived colour difference; a near-perfect match scores 10,000.
