GeoPaint (Geotrivia)
Mix the colours of five flags with hue, saturation and lightness.
Every day: One numbered five-round puzzle a day for everyone (No. 260 on 3 October 2026): each round masks one dominant colour of a country's flag, which you recreate with hue, saturation and lightness sliders, for up to 10 points per flag. New puzzle: Once a day (the site does not state the time).

GeoPaint is Geotrivia's daily flag colour game. Five flags a day each have one dominant colour masked, and you rebuild it with hue, saturation and lightness sliders, then lock it in. Each flag scores up to 10 points.
About GeoPaint (Geotrivia)
GeoPaint asks the question most flag quizzes skip: not which flag it is, but exactly what colour it is. Each day's puzzle is numbered (No. 260 on 3 October 2026) and has five rounds, the first that day being South Korea. The country is named and one dominant colour of its flag is masked; you rebuild it with three sliders for hue, saturation and lightness, then press Lock Color. Each flag scores up to 10 points.
The closer your mix is to the real colour, the better your score, so knowing that a flag is red is only the start: is it a deep crimson or a bright scarlet? It plays in portrait on phones.
GeoPaint is one of five numbered daily games on Geotrivia, with Geodle, GeoRankle, GeoDecide and GeoConnections, on the web and in the Geotrivia app for iOS and Android. They are free with ads, and a Pro subscription adds the archive.
It suits players who liked Flag Fill or The Daily Hue and want five flags a day.
How to play GeoPaint (Geotrivia)
- Open today's GeoPaint; the first country is named and one colour of its flag is masked.
- Move the hue slider to the right colour family.
- Adjust saturation and lightness to match the exact shade.
- Press Lock Color; each flag scores up to 10 points.
- Finish all five rounds and see your score.
Tips
- Set hue first, then lightness, then saturation; it is easier to fine-tune that way.
- Flag blues and reds are usually more saturated than you expect.
- Think about the actual flag, not the colour's name: many 'white' stripes are pure white, but some greens are very dark.
- Compare with the colours you have already locked for the same flag.
