DiRT Rally 2.0 is a rally driving simulator from Codemasters in which you drive real rally cars flat out down gravel, tarmac and snow stages with only your co-driver's calls to guide you. Alongside its career it runs Daily, Weekly and Monthly Challenges, raced by the whole community on worldwide leaderboards. It is a paid game on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
About DiRT Rally 2.0
DiRT Rally 2.0 is a rally and rallycross game from Codemasters, released in February 2019 for Windows, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Electronic Arts now publishes it. The Game of the Year Edition adds every post-launch pack, including the Colin McRae: FLAT OUT Pack with 40 scenarios from his career and new stages in Perth and Kinross, Scotland.
The base game has over 50 cars and six real rally locations: New Zealand, Argentina, Spain, Poland, Australia and the USA. The handling model, tyre choice and surfaces that wear as the stage goes on make it hard on beginners: there is no rewind, and a small mistake can end a stage. You build a team in My Team, hire staff, tune your cars and pay for repairs.
The daily part is the community challenges. Each day there is a Daily Challenge, and there are also Weekly and Monthly ones, which the whole community races and is ranked on a worldwide leaderboard. The player-made Clubs mode ended on 8 July 2026, when the website that hosted it was shut down, but the store page says Time Trial, My Team and Quick Play stay online, and players still mention the Daily and Weekly Challenges in reviews after that date.
It suits people who want a serious driving challenge in short sessions: one stage a day against the rest of the field, with no second chance to clean up a bad run.
How to play DiRT Rally 2.0
- Open the day's Daily Challenge from the game's online challenges.
- Check the location and surface of the event before you start.
- Tune your car's set-up for the surface if you want to.
- Drive the stage, following your co-driver's calls for each corner.
- Finish as fast as you can without wrecking the car, then see where your time places on the worldwide leaderboard.

- Listen to your co-driver: the calls tell you what the next corner does before you can see it.
- A clean, slightly slower run beats a fast one that ends in a ditch, since there is no rewind.
- Practise a location in Time Trial before the day's challenge if you do not know its stages.
