AXIOMA

A deterministic dice roguelite: place five dice a turn on a three-by-three grid, with one shared run a day ranked by turns.

Every day: One address and payload a day in the Global Threat Ledger mode, the same for everybody, ranked on a daily leaderboard by the fewest turns spent to clear the 24-node run. New puzzle: 08:00 UTC.

An AXIOMA turn in progress: dice placed on the three-by-three matrix with row and column damage totals, two Cleaner enemies above, Shield and Mine boxes below and an Execute button

AXIOMA is a turn-based dice roguelite in the browser where every die you roll must be placed to attack, block or bank currency, and placement matters more than the roll. Once a day the Global Threat Ledger gives everyone the same address and payload, and the leaderboard ranks players by how few turns they needed.

About AXIOMA

AXIOMA is a free browser game by latentfactor, published on itch.io in September 2026. It dresses a dice roguelite in a hacker-terminal look: you breach a run of 24 nodes, split into four sectors of six, and each sector ends with a boss you have to beat to go on.

Each turn you roll four six-sided dice and one eight-sided die, and every die has to go somewhere. Dice placed in the three-by-three matrix attack, and each one counts in both its row and its column, so pairs and trios along a line add up. Dice sent to Shield turn into Block that lasts only for that turn, and dice sent to Mine become Bytes that you keep and spend. Execute stays locked until your hand is empty, and nothing can be taken back once committed.

Between fights there is one shop with fourteen passive modules, all available from the first visit and dearer the more you own. Before a run you pick one of four payloads, such as Scrapper, whose trios form diagonally and splash damage onto other enemies. There are no ads, accounts or unlocks carried between runs.

The daily mode, the Global Threat Ledger, sets one six-character address and payload for everyone, rolling over at 08:00 UTC. Because the game is deterministic, the same address always builds the same 24-node run, so the daily leaderboard compares players on a single measure: turns spent, fewest first. A Hunt mode lets you pick any address and payload to play on your own.

How to play AXIOMA

  1. Open the itch.io page, start the game and choose the Global Threat Ledger to play today's live address.
  2. Each turn, roll four d6 and one d8.
  3. Place every die: in the matrix to attack along its row and column, in Shield for Block this turn, or in Mine for Bytes.
  4. Press Execute once your hand is empty; placements cannot be undone.
  5. Spend Bytes on modules at the shop and clear all 24 nodes in as few turns as you can to rank on the day's top 10.

Tips

  • Think about lines before numbers: a die counts in its row and its column, so matching dice along a line pay off more than one high roll.
  • Block expires at the end of the turn but Bytes do not, so mine when the incoming hit is small.
  • Modules get more expensive the more you own, so pick the few that suit your payload.
  • Use Hunt mode with today's address to practise before your ranked run, since the same address always builds the same run.

Questions

Is AXIOMA's daily run the same for everyone?

Yes. The Global Threat Ledger gives everybody the same address and payload each day, and the game is deterministic, so the run is identical.

When does the AXIOMA daily change?

The new address rolls over at 08:00 UTC.

How is the daily leaderboard ranked?

By turns spent. The fewer turns you need to clear the run, the higher you rank.

Is AXIOMA free?

Yes. The current build is free to play in the browser, with no ads or accounts; tips on itch.io are optional.
