Assault Android Cactus+
A twin-stick shooter with one shared ten-layer Daily Drive each day and a single shot at the leaderboard.
Every day: Daily Drive: a ten-layer arena run generated once a day for everybody, with a single attempt and a shared leaderboard. New puzzle: Daily, the menu shows the date of the current Drive.

Assault Android Cactus+ is an arcade twin-stick shooter from Witch Beam in which a draining battery replaces lives. Its Daily Drive mode generates a short run of ten escalating layers each day, the same for every player, and you get one attempt to set a score. Results go on a Steam leaderboard ranked by how far you got, then by score.
About Assault Android Cactus+
Assault Android Cactus+ follows Junior Constable Cactus, who answers a distress call and ends up on a freighter overrun by its own robot workers. It is a fast top-down shooter that mixes arena shooting with bullet hell patterns, and instead of lives each android runs on a battery that drains constantly and is topped up by picking up batteries dropped by enemies. The game was made by the Australian studio Witch Beam and released on Steam in 2015, with the Campaign+ update later adding remixed stages.
The Daily Drive is a compact version of the endless Infinity Drive mode. Each day a new drive of ten layers is generated for everyone, with randomly chosen waves that get harder as you descend. You choose an android, play once, and your result is posted to the day's leaderboard. Quitting or crashing out counts as a forfeit, and gameplay-changing EX options must be switched off before you can enter.
The ranking puts the layer you reached first and score second. Most strong players clear all ten layers, so the score, built from chains of kills and a time bonus for finishing under ten minutes, usually decides the order.
It suits players who like score attack and short, intense runs, and who want a reason to come back each day and compare one fair attempt against everyone else.
How to play Assault Android Cactus+
- Sign in to Steam and choose Daily Drive from the game's menu; it shows the date of today's drive.
- Pick one of the nine androids, each with its own main weapon and powerful secondary weapon.
- Move with one stick or set of keys and aim with the other, keeping your battery topped up by collecting dropped batteries.
- Clear the ten generated layers before your battery runs out; you only get one try.
- Check the leaderboard, where players are ranked by layer reached and then by score.

Tips
- Keep your kill chain alive, since chains drive the score that separates finishers.
- Finishing under the ten-minute par adds a time bonus, so move through the layers quickly.
- Turn off EX options before starting, or the Daily Drive will not open.
- Practise in Infinity Drive, which uses the same style of escalating waves.
