20XX
A roguelike Mega Man-style platformer with one seeded run a day.
Every day: A seeded Daily Challenge: the same levels, bosses and power-ups for everyone that day, one attempt, ranked on a leaderboard. A Daily Hardcore Challenge adds three random modifiers. New puzzle: Once a day; the game does not state the time.

20XX is a roguelike action platformer in the style of Mega Man, playable alone or with a friend. Its Daily Challenge gives everyone the same seeded run once a day, ranked on a leaderboard, with a harder daily variant beside it.
About 20XX
20XX is an action platformer from Batterystaple Games that borrows the look and feel of Mega Man and adds roguelike rules. Every run builds new stages, you collect power-ups and boss abilities on the way, and death sends you back to base, where currency earned in runs buys permanent upgrades. It came out in early access in 2016, in full on PC in August 2017, and on PlayStation 4, Switch and Xbox One in 2018.
The daily mode is the Daily Challenge. It is seeded, so everyone who plays that day gets the same levels, the same bosses and the same items, and you get one attempt. When you die or finish, your result goes on a leaderboard against everyone else's run of the same seed. A Daily Hardcore Challenge runs alongside with three random modifiers switched on, and there are weekly versions of both that reset each Wednesday and can be replayed.
The whole game, daily runs included, can be played in local or online co-op with a second player. It suits players who like precise platforming and want a reason to come back each day beyond the main game's unlocks.
