Agari: Riichi Mahjong
A full riichi mahjong game with a Daily Wall: one round a day, same tiles for everyone.
Every day: Daily Wall: one round of riichi mahjong per day, with the same wall dealt to every player worldwide from a seed made from the date. New puzzle: Midnight.

Agari is a riichi mahjong game for Windows, macOS and Linux with AI opponents, private online tables and a daily mode. The Daily Wall deals one round per day from a date seed, so every player gets the same wall and can compare how they did.
About Agari: Riichi Mahjong
Agari is a one-time purchase riichi mahjong game made by Ryan Sullenberger and released on Steam in June 2026. It implements the standard riichi ruleset, including all yaku, yakuman, han and fu scoring, and its scoring engine is published as an open source library.
The daily mode is called Daily Wall. Each day the game builds the wall from a deterministic seed taken from the date, so everyone who plays that day draws from the same tiles. You get one round, and the result goes into your Daily Wall history, which syncs between computers through Steam Cloud. It resets at midnight, and the store page compares it to Wordle.
Outside the daily, you can play full games offline against AI opponents with four play styles (offensive, balanced, defensive and closed hand), or open a private online table with a room code for two to four people. A tenpai helper shows your waits, and every match can be replayed on the 3D table with all hands face up.
It suits riichi players who want one serious hand a day without accounts or gacha, and learners who want a built-in reference and a helper while they practise.
How to play Agari: Riichi Mahjong
- Start Agari and choose Daily Wall from the main menu.
- Play the round against three AI opponents: draw, discard, call chi, pon or kan, and declare riichi when your hand is one tile from complete.
- Win the hand by ron or tsumo with at least one yaku, or try to avoid dealing in.
- Check your result for the day and come back after midnight for the next wall.

Tips
- Turn on the tenpai helper while learning, to see your waits and how many tiles are left for each.
- Since everyone gets the same wall, compare with friends which hand shape you went for.
- Use the replay view after the round to see what the AI opponents were holding.
Questions

Do I need an account?
