Rate itOne hand of Hearts a day, the same shuffle for everyone, against a table of monsters.
Every day: One numbered official hand of Hearts a day (TIH #26278 on 5 October), dealt from the same shuffle for everyone, with one attempt, a two-minute clock and a daily leaderboard; a champion is crowned at midnight. New puzzle: Midnight.

Today in Hearts is a free daily Hearts game. Every player gets the same shuffle for one official hand, played against Frankenstein, the Werewolf and the Witch under a two-minute clock. Scores go on a daily leaderboard and a champion is crowned at midnight.
About Today in Hearts
Today in Hearts takes classic Hearts and turns it into a daily contest. Each day has a numbered official hand, and everyone who plays it gets the exact same cards in the same order, so the only difference is how you pass and play them. You get one official attempt; practice hands with random deals are unlimited and do not touch the leaderboard.
The clock starts when the hand is dealt: two minutes in total, including choosing three cards to pass. Scoring follows Hearts with bonuses. Each heart you take costs a point and the Queen of Spades costs thirteen; a hand with no points banks 500, shooting the moon (taking every point card) is worth 1000, each second left on the clock adds a point, and winning the hand adds 100. The bonuses never lift a worse hand above a better one.
Before you play you choose a fiend, and each bends one rule: the Vampire gains time bonus faster, the Witch's win bonus is larger, Frankenstein's clean hands are worth more and the Werewolf's moon shots pay 1500. Playing on consecutive days builds a streak that unlocks two more fiends, the Invisible Man at 10 days and the Phantom of the Opera at 20. The page shows today's leaderboard, the week's champions and the all-time best score.

Tips
- Play a practice hand first if you are new: the game walks you through it and explains the scoring.
- Pass the Queen of Spades and high spades if you hold them without many low spades to protect them.
- A clean hand is worth 500, so dodging every point usually beats a narrow win.
- Do not overthink: seconds left on the clock add to your score.
