GridPoker
Place 25 cards in a 5x5 grid to make the best poker hands in every row, column and diagonal.
Every day: A set daily seed, loaded automatically when you first play, deals the same 25 cards in the same order to everyone, so daily scores can be compared. New puzzle: Once a day (the game does not state the time).

GridPoker is a card puzzle set in a pixel-art Wild West. You are dealt five cards at a time and lock them into a 5x5 grid, trying to make strong poker hands across every row, column and diagonal. A daily seed gives everyone the same deal, and you can copy your score to compare.
About GridPoker
GridPoker is a browser card game by Silver Dubloons, made in Unity. The table is a 5x5 grid laid over a desert scene with cacti, rock formations and a steam train. The goal is to make the best possible poker hand in each of the five rows, five columns and two diagonals.
You are dealt five cards and place them where you like on the grid, then lock them in before the next five arrive. Once a card is locked it stays put, so each placement is a bet on what the later hands will bring. When all 25 cards are down, the hands are scored and added up into a total score on screen.
The game loads a set daily seed the first time you play each day, so everyone gets the same deal, and a Copy to Discord button in the menu lets you share your result. After the daily you can keep playing with New Game, either with a random deal or with a seed you type in. The menu tracks how many dailies you have played, your average daily score, your best daily score and your top score overall.
Pressing Q hides the interface so you can look at the scenery, and W shows the exact score for each finished row, column and diagonal. Stats are kept in browser storage, which some browsers and script blockers prevent, and they reset when the game is updated. It suits players who like poker solitaire and quick score-chasing puzzles.

Tips
- Keep one row or column open for flushes and another for straights rather than mixing suits everywhere.
- Remember the diagonals also score; the centre square counts toward both of them.
- Press W to see exactly what each completed line is worth and learn which hands pay most.
- Replay the same deal later by typing its seed into the box next to New Game.
Questions
Is the GridPoker daily the same for everyone?
Yes. A set daily seed loads when you first play, so everyone gets the same cards and can compare scores.
Can I play more than once a day?
Yes. After the daily, press New Game for a random deal, or type a seed to play a specific one.
Is GridPoker free?
Yes. It is free to play in the browser on itch.io.
Why did my stats disappear?
Stats are kept in browser storage, which some browsers and blockers stop, and they are reset whenever the game is updated.
