29GO
Two hands of cribbage against the computer, with the same deal for everyone each day.
Every day: One daily cribbage deal, seeded by the date so everyone gets the same cards: two rounds against the computer, aiming to beat it and to reach 29 points, with a daily leaderboard. New puzzle: Midnight local time.

29GO is a short daily cribbage game from Lost Art Games. You play two rounds against the computer from the day's shared deal, discarding to the crib, pegging and scoring your hand, and try both to win and to reach 29 points.
About 29GO
29GO squeezes cribbage into two hands. Each day's deal comes from a seed set for that date, so every player sees the same cards, which makes scores comparable on the leaderboard. You choose who deals first, an early decision that matters because the dealer keeps the crib points that round, and the deal then alternates.
Each round follows the classic phases. You discard two cards to the crib, keeping your best cards for your own crib and throwing weaker ones to the computer's. Then you and the computer play cards in turn for pegging, scoring 15s, 31s, pairs and runs and saying go when you cannot play without passing 31. Finally the hands and the crib are counted with the usual cribbage combinations: 15s, pairs, runs, flushes and nobs. Beat the computer to win the day; reach 29 points across both rounds, named after the perfect cribbage hand, for a 10-point bonus.
29GO is one of six dailies from Lost Art Games, with Letterbox, Scuotes, alikely, fanimoji and D3C1PH3R. It suits cribbage players who want a quick daily hand, and card players curious to learn the game.
How to play 29GO
- Open the day's 29GO and choose whether you or the computer deals first.
- Discard two cards to the crib: the dealer scores the crib that round.
- Play cards in turn with the computer, scoring 15s, 31s, pairs and runs, and say go when you cannot play.
- Count your hand with the cut card: 15s, pairs, runs, flushes and nobs.
- Play the second round with the deal switched, and try to beat the computer and reach 29 points.
Tips
- Throw fives and pairs to your own crib, never to the computer's.
- Keep cards that make 15 together, such as a five with a ten or face card.
- During pegging, avoid leaving the count at 21, which invites a ten for 31.
