About Hand Daily

Hand Daily is a small card game by handdaily, published on itch.io in May 2026 and built with Phaser 3 and TypeScript. Each run has five antes, and each ante sets a score target, such as 200 points for the first. You are dealt eight cards, select up to five and play them as a poker hand. The hand type sets the score, shown as chips times multiplier, so a high card might score 15 x 1 while better hands score far more.

Each ante gives you four plays and three discards, so you can throw away cards to chase a stronger hand. You earn coins as you go, and between antes a shop offers jokers such as Multiplier (+4 mult on the hand played), Pairs Pal (pairs give +50 chips) or Discard Fuel (unused discards add chips next ante). You can hold up to four jokers and chain their effects, and a reroll costs one coin. There are 12 jokers at launch.

The daily seed is shared, so the same deck deals across the world, and you get one chance a day. When the run ends you can share it with a single emoji grid in the style of Wordle results, and a streak tracker counts your days. The maker plans a global leaderboard in a later update.

The game has no ads in the canvas, no account wall, no gambling, no push notifications and no microtransactions. Cards are vector art in a five-colour palette, and the music is by Kevin MacLeod.

How to play Hand Daily

1. Open Hand Daily on itch.io and start today's run.
2. Select up to five of your eight cards and press Play to score them as a poker hand.
3. Use your three discards to swap out weak cards and chase a better hand.
4. Reach the ante's score target within four plays, then spend your coins on jokers in the shop.
5. Clear all five antes if you can, then share your emoji result grid.

• Discards are worth planning: Discard Fuel rewards leaving some unused.
• Pick jokers that match the hands you tend to make, such as Pairs Pal for pairs.
• Multiplier bonuses grow with stronger hands, so pair them with flushes and straights.
• You only get one chance a day, so take a moment before each play.
