Poker Quest: Swords and Spades
A fantasy roguelike where poker hands power your gear, with a Daily Run and public stats.
Every day: A Daily Run (now called the Daily Bonus Run) each day, with public stats so you can compare against everyone who played it, and bonus XP. New puzzle: Once a day.

Poker Quest: Swords and Spades is a fantasy roguelike from Playsaurus in which a standard deck of playing cards drives combat: the hands you draw power your items, and better poker hands trigger stronger effects. A Daily Run lets everyone tackle the day's run and compare results through public stats.
About Poker Quest: Swords and Spades
Poker Quest left Early Access on Steam in November 2022 after four years of development by Playsaurus. Its world map, full of castles, knights, wizards and dragons, takes cues from Slay the Spire, while its combat is inspired by Dicey Dungeons, with playing cards in place of dice.
In a fight you draw cards from an ordinary 52-card deck and slot them into your items. Each item wants certain cards or combinations, and stronger poker hands such as straights and flushes unlock bigger abilities. Over a run you collect from thousands of items, meet hundreds of monsters and pick paths through a procedurally generated world. There are more than 20 heroes, each with their own gear and abilities, and you can play with or without permanent upgrades.
The Daily Run gives everyone the day's run along with public stats and other details to compare how players fared. An update renamed it the Daily Bonus Run and made it award 150 percent extra XP, and later patches added new world modifiers, such as Casino World and Enchantress World, that can appear in daily runs.
There are also challenge runs with modifiers, mini-games, casinos and mod support. It suits deckbuilder fans and card players who enjoy thinking about odds, with a daily run to check in on.
