30XX
Rate itA Mega Man X style roguelite, with one seeded run a day for everyone and a global leaderboard.
Every day: A Daily Challenge run on a fixed seed, so every player sees the same level order and items, with a special boon and difficulty conditions; one attempt a day, scored on a global leaderboard (solo and co-op have separate seeds and boards). A Weekly Challenge can be replayed all week. New puzzle: Once a day; the Weekly Challenge resets on Wednesdays, early morning US time.

30XX is Batterystaple Games' action platformer roguelite, the sequel to 20XX, with levels, items and powers rebuilt on every run. Its Daily Challenge gives every player the same seeded run with a special rule set, one attempt, and a place on that day's global leaderboard.
About 30XX
30XX entered early access in February 2021 and reached 1.0 in August 2023. Made by Batterystaple Games, it follows 20XX: you play Nina or Ace, robots in the mould of Mega Man X, dashing, jumping and shooting through ten stages whose layout, power-ups and boss order change every run. Defeated bosses give you their powers, augments stack into builds, and runs can be played alone or in local or online co-op. A level editor lets players build their own stages and campaigns.
Daily and Weekly Challenges arrived in June 2021. Each challenge has a fixed random seed, so all players see the same level order and the same items in each level, plus a Challenge Boon and a few Entropy conditions that change the rules, with permanent upgrades locked to a fixed set. You get points for destroyed enemies and beaten bosses, and bonuses for avoiding damage and for time left on the clock. The Daily can be played once: your score goes on the day's global leaderboard, and your time too if you finish. The Weekly resets on Wednesdays and can be replayed for a better score.
One attempt on a known seed makes the daily a test of play rather than luck. Solo and co-op Dailies have separate seeds and leaderboards, so you can play both on the same day. It suits players who already know the base game and want a fair shared run to measure themselves by.
How to play 30XX
- Start the day's Daily Challenge in Standard Mode, alone or in co-op.
- Run through the seeded stages, shooting enemies and collecting the items laid out for everyone.
- Beat each boss to take its power, and avoid damage to earn the efficiency bonus.
- Finish levels quickly: time left on the timer adds to your score.
- When the run ends, your score (and your time if you won) goes on the day's leaderboard; you get one try.

Tips
- Play the Weekly Challenge first if you want practice: it can be replayed as often as you like.
- Damage costs you score as well as health, so slow down in rooms where you keep getting hit.
- Solo and co-op Dailies are separate, so a co-op run with a friend does not use up your solo attempt.
