The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth
The same basement run for everyone today, played once and scored.
Every day: The Daily Challenge: one run a day with the same character, seed, end stage and starting items for every player; one scored attempt on a global leaderboard, then an unscored practice copy. New puzzle: Once a day; the game does not state the time, but the Daily Challenges screen shows a countdown to the next run.

The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth is a top-down roguelike shooter through randomly built basements full of strange items. Since the Afterbirth expansion it has a Daily Challenge: a fixed character, seed and goal for everyone, one scored attempt and a global leaderboard.
About The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth
The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth is a top-down roguelike shooter by Edmund McMillen and Nicalis, released in 2014 as a remake of the 2011 Flash game. You guide Isaac through randomly generated basements, firing tears at monsters and picking up items that change how he looks and fights. Hundreds of items combine in unexpected ways, so no two runs play alike.
The Daily Challenge arrived with the Afterbirth expansion. Each day the game generates one run with a set character, seed, end stage, difficulty and starting items, and every player gets the same one. You can play it once, on one save file, and cannot pause and continue it later: leaving ends the run. When it ends you are scored and placed on a global leaderboard, and an unscored practice copy of the same run unlocks for the rest of the day.
During the daily the game treats every unlockable as available, so new players face the same item pool as veterans, and mods and the debug console are switched off. Some days are curated runs with their own quirks and restrictions. The daily suits players who know the game and want one fair, comparable run each day.
How to play The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth
- Open the Daily Challenges screen from the main menu and check the day's character, goal and starting items.
- Start the run; you get a single scored attempt and cannot leave and continue later.
- Clear rooms with Isaac's tears, collect items and choose which to keep for the day's goal.
- Reach the end stage, or survive as long as you can, to raise your score.
- After the run, check your place on the leaderboard and replay the practice copy if you like.

Tips
- Score matters more than in a normal run, so clear rooms fully and avoid taking damage.
- Each character starts with a different base score, which is worth knowing when you compare results.
- Turn off mods before starting: daily runs cannot be played with mods or the debug console active.
Questions
Can I replay the Isaac daily run?
Only once for a score. After your attempt an unscored practice copy of the same run unlocks for the rest of the day.
Why is the daily greyed out?
Daily runs cannot be played with mods or the debug console active, and each day's run can only be played once.
Is the daily the same for everyone?
Yes. Every player gets the same seed, character and starting items that day, so the scores can be compared.
