SpellRogue
A dice-and-spells deckbuilding roguelike with a seeded Daily Challenge and leaderboards.
Every day: A seeded Daily Challenge run each day with its own set of game modifiers, the same for everyone, with a leaderboard for each day. New puzzle: Once a day.

SpellRogue is a turn-based deckbuilding roguelike where spells are powered by Mana Dice that you reroll, split, flip and enchant. A Daily Challenge sets a seeded run with changing modifiers each day, with a leaderboard to compare scores.
About SpellRogue
SpellRogue is made by Guidelight Games and published by Ghost Ship Publishing, and reached version 1.0 on Steam in April 2025 for Windows. You play a wizard fighting back against the Voidbringers, whose meteors of corruption have warped the world into regions such as the Deadwoods and the Scorched Desert.
Combat revolves around Mana Dice. Each turn you roll them and spend the results to cast the spells in your deck, but you can bend the odds: reroll, duplicate, split or flip dice, and enchant them with special effects. Enemies fight back against your system, with mushrooms that infect spells with debuffs, fire elementals that make spells risky to cast and Voidbringers that curse your dice.
The Daily Challenge, found on the character select screen, builds each day's run from the game's custom game system: a seeded run with a set of modifiers, and a leaderboard for every Daily Challenge. Updates in 2025 added new daily modifiers, reworked the daily algorithm for more varied and sometimes very tough combinations, fixed seeding so the daily is consistent, and added score breakdowns when you hover over leaderboard entries.
It plays at your own pace with full controller support. It suits deckbuilder fans who enjoy managing luck, and anyone who likes comparing one shared run with other players.

Tips
- Read the day's modifiers first: some, like a low starting health, change how cautious you need to be.
- Value spells and artifacts that let you change dice, since they turn bad rolls into good ones.
- Check the score breakdowns of top leaderboard entries to see what the best runs did.
