Buy your vowels on a $10 budget, then build words from seven letters in three minutes.

Every day: One numbered official round a day: everyone gets the same three consonants and auto-selected vowel, spends a play-money budget of $10 on up to three more vowels (or takes a free consonant for each), and has three minutes to build words for the daily leaderboard. A champion is crowned at midnight. New puzzle: Midnight.

Play Voweluable

A Voweluable practice game: a green banknote-style board with a 3:00 timer and seven empty tiles, $10.00 of Vowel Bucks, the auto vowel I, and offers to buy U, E or O or take a free consonant

Voweluable is a daily word game with a shopping twist. Everyone starts with the same three consonants and one vowel, then spends ten play-money Vowel Bucks on more vowels or takes free consonants instead. You then have three minutes to make words from your seven letters, with unspent money turned into bonus points.

About Voweluable

Voweluable's day starts with the same letters for everyone: three consonants and one vowel chosen automatically. You then decide how to fill the other three tiles. Each offer is a vowel at a price or a free consonant instead. The prices follow how useful each vowel is across the dictionary, E at $5.75 and A at $4.75, O at $2.50, I at $2.00 and U at $1.50, so with $10 you can afford E or A but never both. The site calls this pricing the Tater Rule, adopted in September 2026 after one player kept breaking the record.

With seven letters on the bill, the three-minute clock starts. You tap letters to spell words, each letter once per word, and submit as many as you can. Longer words pay far more: 10 points for three letters, 25 for four, 50 for five, 90 for six and 150 for a word using all seven. Leftover Vowel Bucks become a few bonus points, and small change goes into a lifetime savings bank shown on a Top Savers board.

One official game a day counts for the leaderboard and needs a free sign-in by email link; practice games are open to everyone and unlimited. The page shows yesterday's champion, the week's champions, the all-time best score and the longest streaks. Vowel Bucks are play money, and there is nothing to buy.

Tips

  • Look at your consonants before buying: some sets need an E or A, others work with cheap I and U.
  • Go for longer words first: one six-letter word beats several three-letter ones.
  • A seven-letter word using every tile is worth 150 points, so look for it before the clock runs low.
  • Skipping vowels saves money, but the bonus is small; letters that make words are usually worth more.
