9 Words in play: a three-by-three tracker of solved words, a 24-second clock, and the letters L, Y, U and G to unscramble

9 Words is a free daily anagram game from PZL games. Each day brings nine scrambled words, and you have thirty seconds to unscramble each one using every letter. It is the shorter sister of 18 Words on the same site.

About 9 Words (PZL games)

9 Words comes from PZL games, the daily puzzle site of Perfect Level Games Ltd, and follows the same idea as its 18 Words with half the length. Everyone gets the same nine words on the same day.

Each word appears as a set of letter tiles in a random order. You tap or type the letters in the right order to spell the word, using every tile, before the thirty-second clock for that word runs out. You may shuffle the tiles once per word, which can shake loose an answer you cannot see. A grid of nine squares at the top tracks how many words you have solved.

On a desktop you can type with the keyboard, and Space or Shift shuffles. At the end you get a result to share with friends who played the same nine words.

It suits players who like Jumble-style anagrams and want something done in a few minutes.
