About Anagram Arena (PuzzNest)

Anagram Arena is a word game on PuzzNest, a puzzle site that also has its own Daily Puzzles app. Its front page offers three ways to play: the Daily Challenge, an unlimited Solo mode, and Movie Arena, which scrambles film and TV titles instead of ordinary words.

The Daily Challenge is the part that changes every day. It is dated, shows Word 1 of 5 with a progress bar, and starts a countdown for each word. Below a row of empty slots sit the scrambled letter tiles, six of them on the day we looked, and you tap them in order to spell the answer. Undo and Clear fix a wrong tap, and Show Answer gives up on a word you cannot see.

Because every player gets the same five words, the daily set is something to compare with friends, while Solo mode is for practice at your own pace, sorted by how long and how common the words are. Some letter sets make more than one word, and the site says other valid words may count depending on the puzzle.

It suits players who like quick jumbles and a bit of time pressure, and it takes only a few minutes a day.

How to play Anagram Arena (PuzzNest)

1. Open Anagram Arena and choose Daily Challenge.
2. Look at the scrambled letter tiles under the empty slots.
3. Tap the letters in order to spell the hidden word, using Undo or Clear to fix mistakes.
4. Find the word before the timer runs out, then move on to the next.
5. Finish all five words of the day.

Tips

• Spot the vowels first and try common endings such as -ING, -ED or -ER.
• Look for prefixes like RE-, UN- and IN- to split a long word into parts.
• Practise in Solo mode to get faster at seeing patterns before the timed daily set.
