Every day: A new dated Daily Puzzle every day: unscramble four words, then use their starred letters to answer the day's clue with a phrase. New puzzle: Once a day; the game does not say at what hour.

All Mixed Up is a word scramble app in the style of the newspaper Jumble. Each puzzle has four scrambled words, and the letters that land in starred slots make up the answer to a clue, usually a common phrase like Piece of Cake. A new Daily Puzzle comes out every day, alongside more than a thousand others, free with an optional Premium subscription.
About All Mixed Up!
All Mixed Up is an iPhone and iPad game from DexCheck, released in November 2019. It follows the pattern of the classic newspaper Jumble. The top half of the screen holds four scrambled words; you drag or tap the letter tiles into slots to spell each one. Some slots carry a star, and every letter that lands on a star is copied into a pool at the bottom.
That pool is for the final puzzle: a clue such as what is required to make an omelet, or what you call a control freak, whose answer is a phrase or idiom built only from the starred letters. Answers in the store's examples include Tip of the Tongue, Bet the Farm and Music to My Ears. A hint moves one tile into its right place when you are stuck.
The Daily Puzzle screen shows the date and the day's title, and a new one appears every day. Beyond it there are more than a thousand puzzles in numbered volumes. Premium Access, sold monthly, quarterly or yearly, removes ads and gives unlimited hints, the past 90 days of daily puzzles and a premium collection.
It suits fans of the newspaper Jumble and of puns and idioms who want one short word puzzle to start the day.

Tips
- Solve the easiest of the four words first: its starred letters already narrow the final phrase.
- Count the letters and word breaks in the final answer before you guess the phrase.
- The clue is usually a pun, so think of idioms and sayings that fit it twice over.
- Common endings like ING, ED and ER are a good first try on a scrambled word.
