Zanagrams (PZL games)
Rate itTrace hidden words along the paths of a sixteen-letter board until every letter is used.
Every day: One numbered board a day for everyone: sixteen letter tiles joined by paths, hiding a set of words of four letters or more, with past puzzles in an archive. New puzzle: Once a day, when the next numbered puzzle appears.

Zanagrams is a free daily word puzzle from PZL games. Each day's board is a four-by-four set of letters joined by paths, and you drag along the paths to spell the hidden words. Letters and paths drop away once no remaining word needs them, so the board untangles as you go.
About Zanagrams (PZL games)
Zanagrams is one of the daily games on PZL games, the puzzle site from Perfect Level Games Ltd that also runs Sunflowers, 18 Words and Middle Word. A new numbered board appears each day for every player, and earlier boards can be replayed.
The board is sixteen letter tiles in a four-by-four square, but you can only move between tiles that are linked by a drawn path, so the paths decide which words are possible. The top of the board counts how many words are left. Words must be at least four letters long, and once a letter or a path is no longer needed by any remaining word it disappears, which slowly untangles the board and points you at what is left.
You can drag across the tiles or type, and a hint reveals the next letter of a word you still need. The clock runs from the moment the letters show, and your time and hints go into the result you can share. A harder Zanagrams Master sits beside it.
It suits players of Strands and Squaredle who want a board that shrinks as it is solved.
How to play Zanagrams (PZL games)
- Open Zanagrams on PZL games; the day's board shows how many words are left.
- Drag from tile to tile along the drawn paths to spell a word of four or more letters, or type it.
- Release to submit; a correct word is removed from the count.
- Watch letters and paths disappear once no remaining word needs them.
- Find every hidden word to finish, then share your time and hints used.
Tips
- Start with rare letters such as X or Q: few paths reach them, so their words are easier to spot.
- A letter with a single path must start or end a word.
- Use a hint to reveal one letter at a time rather than giving up on a word.
