Daily Word Search is one of Bored Panda's Daily Games, published every day on its own numbered and dated page beside Guess The Country, Guess The Famous Person, Guess The Timeline and Guess The Phrase. It began in May 2026 and passed No. 137 in early October; the puzzles are also syndicated on the news app inkl.

Each day has a theme and a list of words hidden in a grid of letters. You choose a level before you start. In Easy the words run only across or down, Medium adds diagonals, and Hard lets a word bend and wind through the grid in any direction, which plays more like Strands than a classic word search. Every theme word you find breaks a cage and frees a panda.

Words that are not on the theme list still count: any valid word of three letters or more earns bonus points and builds up hints. A first hint gives a clue to a word you are stuck on, and a second shows where it sits in the grid.

It suits word search fans who want a fresh themed grid each day, and Strands players looking for a gentler warm-up on the Easy level.

How to play Daily Word Search (Bored Panda)

1. Open the day's Daily Word Search page from Bored Panda's Daily Games.
2. Pick Easy, Medium or Hard.
3. Find a word from the theme list and drag across its letters to mark it.
4. Mark other valid words of three letters or more to earn bonus points and hints.
5. Find every theme word to free all the pandas.

Tips

• On Hard, look for unusual letters such as Q, Z or X and follow them, since words can bend.
• Collect bonus words early so hints are ready when you need them.
