Guess The Phrase share art: a game show board reading Today's Phrase beside a points wheel and letter tiles

Guess The Phrase is a daily word puzzle on Bored Panda modelled on the TV game show Wheel of Fortune. You spin a wheel for points, call letters to reveal them in the hidden phrase, buy vowels when you need them and solve before your luck runs out. The phrase might be a film quote, a song lyric, an idiom or a title.

About Guess The Phrase (Bored Panda)

Guess The Phrase is one of Bored Panda's Daily Games, published every day with its own numbered and dated page next to Guess The Country, Guess The Famous Person, Guess The Timeline and a Daily Word Search. It began in the summer of 2026 and passed No. 60 in early October.

The puzzle borrows the format of Wheel of Fortune. A board shows the hidden phrase as blank tiles, with its category above. You spin the wheel to set what each correct consonant is worth, call a letter, and every place it appears is revealed. Vowels can be bought rather than called. The phrase can be a famous film line, a song lyric, a common idiom, an animal or a pop culture title, so the category is the first clue.

The tension is between playing safe and chasing points: solving early keeps your score, while risky spins can pay more. Each page links to earlier puzzles, and readers compare scores in the comments.

It suits anyone who grew up shouting answers at the TV, and word game players who like a little luck mixed in.

How to play Guess The Phrase (Bored Panda)

  1. Open the day's Guess The Phrase page from Bored Panda's Daily Games.
  2. Read the category above the hidden phrase.
  3. Spin the wheel, then call a consonant to reveal it wherever it appears.
  4. Buy a vowel when you need one.
  5. Solve the phrase as soon as you know it to keep your score.

Tips

  • Start with common consonants such as R, S, T, N and L.
  • Short words of two or three letters often fall first and unlock the rest.
  • Do not wait for every letter: solving early protects your points.
