Paddock Word Search is a daily Formula 1 word search from the F1 stats site Pole to Paddock. Each day's grid hides ten words, from driver and team names to circuits and racing terms, and you drag across the letters to find them against the clock. A Free Play mode gives extra grids in three sizes whenever you want more.
About Paddock Word Search (Pole to Paddock)
Paddock Word Search is one of the games on Pole to Paddock, a free site of Formula 1 stats, tools, fantasy help and games. It takes the classic word search and fills it with the sport: every word in the grid is a driver, a team, a circuit or a piece of F1 language such as STEWARD or HYBRID.
The Daily puzzle is numbered and shared by everyone. A new grid is generated at midnight UTC, so the reset comes at the same moment wherever you play. The ten words are listed beside the grid in four groups, Drivers, Teams, Circuits and F1 Terms, each with its own count, and a timer runs while you search. Words can run along any row, column or diagonal, forwards or backwards.
When the day's grid is done, Share Result gives you the puzzle number, your time and the list of words you found, ready to paste to friends. Free Play makes a new grid on demand at Easy (10 by 10, 8 words), Medium (13 by 13, 10 words) or Hard (15 by 15, 12 words), and does not count as the day's play.
It suits F1 fans who want a short, calm puzzle with their morning paddock news, and word search players who like a theme they know. Knowing the current grid and the calendar helps: a list of circuits is easier to spot when you know how the names are spelled.
How to play Paddock Word Search (Pole to Paddock)
- Open Paddock Word Search and keep the Daily tab selected.
- Read the ten words in the panel beside the grid, sorted into Drivers, Teams, Circuits and F1 Terms.
- Find a word in the grid and drag across its letters along a row, column or diagonal, in either direction.
- Keep going until every word is crossed off; the timer and the word count track your progress.
- Press Share Result to copy your puzzle number, time and found words, or switch to Free Play for another grid.
Tips
- Start with the longest names, such as circuit names, since their rare letters stand out in the grid.
- Look for unusual letters like Z, J or Q first: a driver or circuit with one in it is quick to pin down.
- Remember that words can run backwards and diagonally, so scan in all eight directions from a starting letter.
- Use Free Play on Easy to warm up; it does not touch your daily result.
