About Formudle

Formudle gathers several daily formats around Formula 1. The Grid is a 3x3 board with clues on each row and column, such as a team (Ferrari since 1990), a nationality (Finland), an achievement (Japanese GP winner, World Champion) or a relationship (father and son, Hamilton team-mate); you fill each square with a driver who fits both. If only one driver fits a square, the game adds him for you. Easy, Normal and Hard modes and optional 90, 60 or 40-second timers change the challenge.

The other games are an F1 Wordle, where you find an F1-related word in six tries with colour clues; Connections, where sixteen drivers fall into four groups that share a career trait; Bingo, which asks you to place twelve drivers in twelve categories on a 3x4 board; and the newer Pyramid and Top 10.

All of them refresh at midnight. The site is free with ads and needs no account.

It suits F1 fans who want a set of quick daily quizzes in one place, alongside F1dle and Stewardle.

How to play Formudle

1. Pick a game from the Formudle home page, such as Grid.
2. In Grid, read the row and column clues.
3. Choose a driver for each square who fits both its clues.
4. Set a difficulty and an optional timer, then complete the grid.
5. Come back after midnight for new puzzles in every game.

Tips

• Fill the squares with the fewest possible drivers first, such as a nationality crossed with a rare achievement.
• Long-serving drivers fit many clues; save them for awkward squares.
• Use the no-timer mode to learn the clue types before trying 60 seconds.
• In Connections, team-mates and nationalities are common groupings, so watch for red herrings.
