Scorewit Racing is a daily Formula 1 trivia game: six questions a day, the same for everyone, from any season since 1950. Some are multiple choice and some ask for a number, with partial points for a close guess. Every fact is computed from the open F1DB dataset and checked by a separate program.

About Scorewit Racing

Scorewit is a site of seven daily sports trivia games, and Scorewit Racing is its Formula 1 edition. Each day brings six questions drawn from the sport's whole history, from 1950 to the current season. Questions ask things like which team put two drivers on a podium, how many cars were classified at the end of a race of attrition, or which grid slot a famous winner started from.

There are two kinds of question. Multiple choice questions are worth 100 points for the right answer. Closest guess questions ask for a number, such as a points gap or a driver's age, and score full points within a set margin and fewer the further off you are. Six questions make a maximum of 600 points, and you can share a spoiler-free result and build a daily streak.

Scorewit's rule is that every fact is computed from open data or not said at all. The questions and answers are generated from F1DB race data, then re-derived by an independent checker; if the two disagree, nothing is published. Each answer links to its source, and the F1 data is refreshed nightly.

There are no accounts, cookies or tracking. Alongside the daily there is a practice mode, a This Weekend view tied to the current race, and pages on drivers and teams. The same site runs daily games for the Premier League, the World Cup, cricket, the IPL, the NFL and baseball.

How to play Scorewit Racing

  1. Open Scorewit Racing and start the daily round.
  2. Answer each of the six questions: pick an option for multiple choice, or enter a number for closest guess questions.
  3. Read the answer and its source after each question.
  4. See your score out of 600, share it and keep your daily streak going.

Tips

  • On number questions a close guess still scores, so always give your best estimate.
  • Old races often had few finishers: think attrition when asked how many cars were classified before the 1990s.
  • Points questions depend on the scoring system of the season, which changed several times.
  • Use the practice mode to get a feel for the question types before the daily.
