Airport Guessr
Name the day's airport from a satellite image, with a hint after each miss.
Every day: One airport a day, the same for everyone: identify it from a satellite image in five guesses, with a new hint after each miss. New puzzle: Once a day; the site does not state the time.

Airport Guessr shows you one airport from above each day and asks which it is. You have five guesses, and each wrong one unlocks a hint, such as the airport's passenger rank, its country, its city or its IATA code. All answers come from the 50 busiest airports of 2023.
About Airport Guessr
Airport Guessr is a daily aviation geography game from bytecatch, the maker of the aircraft game Planespottle. Each day the game shows a satellite image of one airport: runways, terminals and the land around them.
You pick an airport from a list grouped by continent. A wrong guess unlocks a hint, such as the airport's rank by passenger traffic, its country or city, or its IATA code, and you have five guesses in all. When you are done you can copy a result to share, and the game counts down to the next airport.
The pool is limited to the 50 busiest airports by passengers in 2023, so frequent flyers will recognise many of them. It suits aviation fans and players of map games like Worldle who want something more specific than country outlines.
How to play Airport Guessr
- Open planespottle.net/airportguessr and press Play now.
- Study the satellite image of the airport.
- Choose an airport from the list, grouped by continent, and guess.
- After a miss, read the new hint, such as the rank or the IATA code.
- Find it within five guesses and copy your result to share.
Tips
- Count the runways and note their layout: parallel pairs, crossing runways or a single strip narrow it down fast.
- Look at the surroundings: sea, desert or dense city around the field is a strong clue.
- Only the 50 busiest airports of 2023 are in play, so think of the big hubs first.
