FlagGuessr
Rate itName the day's flag from a zoomed-in corner, with more revealed after each miss.
Every day: One numbered country flag a day, the same for every player, shown zoomed in at first and widened after each wrong guess, with five guesses. New puzzle: Midnight UTC.

FlagGuessr shows a small, zoomed-in part of the day's country flag and gives you five guesses to name it. Each wrong guess zooms out to show more, and a continent hint arrives after the first miss. Fewer guesses earn more points, up to 10,000.
About FlagGuessr
FlagGuessr is a free daily flag game from Stoop, which also makes DailyGuessr, CocktailGuessr and Palette. Each numbered puzzle is one country's flag, published at midnight UTC and the same for every player around the world.
The flag starts zoomed in four times, so only about a quarter of it shows: often just a field of colour or a corner of an emblem. You type a country name, pick it from the autocomplete list and submit. Each wrong guess zooms out a step, from 4x to 2.5x, 1.75x, 1.25x and finally the whole flag, and after your first miss you also get a hint about the continent.
Scoring rewards speed: 10,000 points for a first-guess answer, then 8,000, 6,000, 4,000 and 2,000, each with a label from Vexillologist down to Clueless. There is no play-again button, but a calendar lets you go back to earlier puzzles you missed. Your result can be shared as an emoji grid that shows only your guess count.
It needs no account and has no timer. It suits anyone who wants to stop confusing Chad with Romania, and flag fans who like a puzzle that starts with almost nothing to go on.
How to play FlagGuessr
- Open FlagGuessr and study the zoomed-in part of the flag.
- Type a country name and choose it from the autocomplete list, then press Guess.
- After a wrong guess, look at the wider view and the continent hint.
- Name the flag within five guesses; the fewer you use, the more points you score.
- Share your result, or use the calendar to play a past flag.

Tips
- Look at the exact shade and order of stripes: many tricolours differ only in those.
- Pan-African red, yellow and green point to Africa; red, white, black and green often to the Arab world.
- A Union Jack in the corner suggests a Commonwealth country, and a Nordic cross means northern Europe.
- Any part of an emblem or coat of arms is worth more than a stripe of colour.
