Antipodal
Rate itA red marker sits on the globe: name the place on the exact opposite side of Earth.
Every day: One mystery point on a 3D globe a day, the same for everyone: name the country, ocean or sea at its antipode in five guesses. New puzzle: Once a day.

Antipodal shows a red marker on a 3D globe and asks for its antipode, the point straight through the centre of the Earth. You get five guesses, each answered with a distance and a warmer or colder hint. One new location a day.
About Antipodal
Antipodal is a geography puzzle about opposite points. The day's mystery location is marked in red on a globe you can spin and zoom, and the answer is whatever lies exactly on the other side of the planet: a country, an ocean or a sea.
Each guess tells you how far it lands from the true antipode, and whether it is warmer or colder than your last try, so the five guesses work like a search that closes in on the spot.
The twist is that most of the planet's antipodes are water: the site notes that only about 15 percent of land has land on its far side. A marker over a continent will usually point to an ocean, and that is often the right first guess.
There is one puzzle a day for everyone. A paid Pro option adds unlimited extra puzzles, but the daily one is free.
How to play Antipodal
- Spin the globe and find the red marker: that is today's location.
- Work out roughly where the opposite point on Earth would be.
- Type a country, ocean or sea and submit your guess.
- Read the distance and the warmer or colder hint, then guess again.
- Name the antipode within five guesses.

Tips
- Flip the latitude (north becomes south) and move 180 degrees of longitude to find the rough area.
- When the marker is on land, start with an ocean: most land is opposite water.
- Use the first guess for direction and the warmer or colder hints to narrow it down.
