Seadle
Rate itFind the sea of the day on a globe, guided by distance.
Every day: One sea of the day, the same for every player and numbered by days since December 22, 2025, found on a globe from about a hundred seas, gulfs, straits and oceans. New puzzle: Midnight local time.

Seadle hides one body of water a day, from the Adriatic to the Yellow Sea, and you guess by name from a list of about a hundred seas, gulfs, straits and oceans. Each guess is shaded on a globe and tells you how far away it is from the answer, or that it borders it. The goal is to find it in as few guesses as you can.
About Seadle
Seadle is a Worldle-style game for the oceans, made by muhashi. Instead of countries, its answers are the named waters of the world map: seas like the Banda or the Laptev, gulfs from Aden to Thailand, straits such as Malacca and Bass, bays, channels and the oceans themselves, about a hundred in all.
You pick a name from the search list and press Guess. The sea is shaded on a rotating globe and added to your list with its distance from the answer, in kilometres or miles, or the word Borders if the two touch. You keep guessing until you find it, and the result shows how many guesses you took, with a numbered result to share.
The settings let you show a compass and display every sea's name when you hover over the globe, which turns it into a study aid. The game plays in the browser and needs no account. It suits players who know their countries and want to learn the water between them.
How to play Seadle
- Open seadle.muhashi.com.
- Type the name of a sea, gulf, strait or ocean and pick it from the list.
- Press Guess: the sea is shaded on the globe and you see how far it is from the answer.
- Use the distances, and the Borders hint for neighbours, to move toward the answer.
- Keep guessing until you find the sea of the day, then share your count.
Tips
- Open with a large ocean basin to learn which side of the world you need.
- A Borders result means the answer touches your guess: try its neighbours next.
- Turn on hover names in settings while you learn the smaller seas of Southeast Asia.
- Remember that straits and channels count as answers too.
