Ballot Blocks
Look around a US neighbourhood and guess how it voted in 2024.
Every day: One US neighbourhood a day in Street View, the same for everyone: guess how it voted in the 2024 presidential election, within 5 points, in seven tries. New puzzle: Midnight US Eastern time (set in the site's configuration).

Ballot Blocks drops you into a Street View of an American neighbourhood each day and asks how it voted in the 2024 presidential election. You pick the winner and margin on a slider and win if you are within 5 points; wrong guesses reveal hints such as the region, state and county. You have seven attempts.
About Ballot Blocks
Ballot Blocks is a daily guessing game about American places and politics. Each day you get one location in Google Street View: houses, cars, shops, signs. Your job is to read the neighbourhood and guess how it voted in the 2024 presidential election between Harris and Trump.
You set a slider to a winner and a margin, such as Trump +15 or Harris +30, and submit. You win with the right winner and a margin within 5 points of the real result. You have seven attempts, and each wrong guess reveals a hint, narrowing the location from census region and subregion to state and county. At the end the game names the place and shows how it voted, with a share line for your result.
After the daily, Canvas Mode offers ten random locations to play at any time. It suits players of GeoGuessr-style games who enjoy reading clues from a street, and anyone interested in US election maps.
How to play Ballot Blocks
- Open ballotblocks.com and look around the Street View.
- Set the slider to the winner and margin you expect.
- Submit your guess; you win within 5 points of the real margin.
- After a miss, read the new hint about the location.
- Get it within seven attempts, then share your result.
Tips
- Density is a strong signal: dense city blocks and suburban cul-de-sacs vote very differently.
- Look at yard signs, flags, trucks and business names for local cues.
- Use each hint to adjust the margin, not only the winner: a state hint often moves your estimate by many points.
