WRCdle
Find the day's World Rally Championship driver in six guesses.
Every day: One numbered mystery WRC driver a day, the same for everyone, to find in six guesses from nationality, manufacturer, titles, wins and debut-year clues. New puzzle: Midnight in your own time zone (the game counts days on the device's clock).

WRCdle is a Wordle-style guessing game for rally fans. Each day there is one mystery World Rally Championship driver, and every guess shows how close you are on nationality, manufacturer, titles, wins and debut year. You have six tries.
About WRCdle
WRCdle brings the guess-the-player format to the World Rally Championship. Each day's driver is numbered, counting from the first puzzle on 20 March 2026, and comes from a fixed shuffled order of drivers, so everyone gets the same one on the same date. The eligible pool is drivers from the World Rally Car and Rally1 eras who scored manufacturer points or finished on a podium.
Each guess fills a row of clues. Nationality turns green for the same country and yellow for a nearby country on the same continent. Manufacturer is green if your guess matches the driver's current or latest team and yellow if the mystery driver has driven for that make before. Titles and wins come with arrows for higher or lower, and the debut year is yellow when it is within five years.
The manufacturer clue is where rally knowledge pays: drivers move between Citroen, Ford and M-Sport, Hyundai, Toyota and others, and a yellow tile there narrows the field quickly. Results can be shared as a grid of coloured squares.
It suits WRC followers who know who drove what and when, and fans of F1dle and other motorsport guessing games who want a rally version.
How to play WRCdle
- Open WRCdle and type the name of a WRC driver.
- Read the clues: nationality, manufacturer, titles, wins and debut year.
- Use the colours and arrows to narrow the field: green correct, yellow close, red wrong.
- Guess again, up to six times, until you find the driver.
- Share your result grid.
Tips
- Start with a driver who drove for several manufacturers; the manufacturer clue can then turn yellow and tell you a lot.
- Use the debut-year clue early to place the driver in an era.
- A yellow nationality means the same continent, so think of neighbouring countries with rally traditions.
- Titles and wins arrows quickly split champions from podium regulars.
