Wordhoard
Swipe as many words as you can from the day's letters, 30 seconds a board.
Every day: Three boards a day, of 6, 8 and 9 letters, with 30 seconds each; every player in the world gets the same letters, and each board size has its own global leaderboard. New puzzle: Once a day (the listing does not state the time).

Wordhoard is a quick daily word game for iPhone. Each day brings three boards of 6, 8 and 9 letters, the same for every player, and you have 30 seconds on each to swipe out the best words you can. Each board size keeps its own global leaderboard.
About Wordhoard
Wordhoard sets a ring of letters on the screen and gives you a short clock. You swipe from letter to letter to build words, and each valid word scores. Longer words, rare letters with bonus multipliers and quick chains of words that build a combo all push the score up, and using every letter is the thing to aim for before time runs out. A built-in dictionary checks each word.
The Daily is three boards: easy with 6 letters, medium with 8 and hard with 9, each with 30 seconds. Every player in the world gets the same letters, and each board size has its own global leaderboard, which is the only part of the game that goes online. Everything else plays fully offline.
Between dailies there is Open Play, where you pick the board size and timer and play as long as you like, and a friends game: one phone shows a QR code, the others scan it, and every phone deals the same letters with no connection needed. The app keeps your scores, accuracy, streaks and longest words.
Wordhoard is made by Arno Welgemoed and came out in August 2026. It is free with ads. Wordhoard Plus removes the ads, shows every possible answer after each round and lets you choose your scoreboard name.

Tips
- Look for common endings first (-ed, -er, -ing, -s) to turn one word into several.
- Use the bonus-marked letter early; its multiplier is worth more inside a longer word.
- Short words keep a combo alive when you cannot see a long one.
- Try to spot the word that uses every letter in the first few seconds; it is worth chasing.
