Rovo
One letter board a day, sixty seconds to spell as much as you can.
Every day: A new letter board at midnight, the same for everyone, to be played in 60 seconds; up to three attempts a day, with the best score on a global leaderboard. New puzzle: Midnight (the listing does not name the time zone).

Rovo is an iPhone word game with one board a day, the same for every player. You tap letters to spell words against a 60-second clock, earn multipliers for long words and speed, and get a grade from F to S. Your best of three attempts goes on a global leaderboard.
About Rovo
Rovo is a fast word hunt in a pixel-art frame. The daily board is a six by six grid of letter tiles, each carrying a point value, with a few tiles marked as multipliers. You tap letters to spell a word and submit it, and the clock in the middle of the screen counts down from 60 seconds.
Scoring rewards more than finding many words. Longer words score more, words that reuse multiplier tiles stack their bonus, and chaining words quickly adds a speed multiplier. At the end you get a letter grade from F to S along with your score, and the results screen shows today's top scores.
The daily board drops at midnight and is the same for everyone, so scores can be compared with friends and on the global leaderboard. You get up to three attempts a day, and your best counts. Outside the daily there is a practice mode with no leaderboard. The app tracks streaks, personal records such as your longest word, a grade distribution and every word you have found.
Rovo is made by Kane Brady and came out on the App Store in March 2026. It suits players who like Boggle-style word hunts and a short, timed round rather than a slow puzzle.
How to play Rovo
- Open the Daily mode to get the day's 6x6 letter board.
- Tap letters in a row to spell a word, then submit it.
- Keep spelling words before the 60 seconds run out; long words, multiplier tiles and quick chains raise the score.
- See your grade and rank, then use your other attempts to beat your best if you want.
- Come back after midnight for a new board.

Tips
- Use your first attempt to scan the board for long words and multiplier tiles, then go back for them on the next try.
- Two medium words that both use a multiplier tile can beat one long word that misses it.
- Common endings such as -ER, -ED and -S turn one find into several quick ones and keep the speed bonus going.
- Warm up in practice mode before the daily if you want all three attempts to count.
