Curved Space is an arcade twin-stick shooter from Only By Midnight in which arenas bend and wrap around, so you can drive up walls and over to the far side while bullets follow the surface. Alongside its campaign it has a Daily Run: one attempt per day at a new challenge, with scores ranked on a leaderboard.
About Curved Space
Curved Space takes the classic twin-stick shoot 'em up and sets it on warped 3D stages. Your ship clings to curved landscapes, tubes and twisted platforms, the horizon drops away sharply, and shots hug the terrain, so enemies can appear from around a bend. You fight swarms of space-invading spiders and interdimensional bugs, plus large bosses, with weapons you upgrade along the way.
The game was made by the UK studio Only By Midnight and released in June 2021 by Maximum Games on PC and consoles. Besides a branching story campaign it offers Arena, Survival and Endless modes.
The Daily Run is its daily mode. Each day there is a new run, and you get a single attempt to finish it and post the highest score you can. The store page frames it as a race for the day's leaderboard, and reviewers describe it as a shared daily challenge where players compete with each other.
