Vecter
Fly flat out down the day's track and see how far you get.
Every day: A new procedurally generated track every day, built from one shared seed so it is identical for everyone, with its own leaderboard; the day's top player is added to a permanent Wall of Legends. New puzzle: Once a day; the game shows a countdown to the end of the day's track.

Vecter is a free arcade runner and shooter: you fly a ship down an endless track at rising speed and try not to hit anything. Every day brings a new track that is the same for everyone, with a daily leaderboard whose winner stays on a Wall of Legends for good.
About Vecter
Vecter is a free game by a solo developer, Taranasus, in early access from November 2019 and released in full in October 2020. You pilot a small ship down a neon track, throttle wide open, steering around and shooting through whatever is in the way. Speed keeps rising, and a run ends when you hit something.
The daily track is the centre of the game. Levels are generated procedurally, but from a seed that is the same for everyone that day, so every player is racing an identical track. Each day has its own leaderboard, and when the day's timer runs out the player at the top is written into the Wall of Legends, a permanent list where you can click any name to see that day's board. Billboards in the track show where top players crashed.
Beside the daily there are global Steam leaderboards, five modes (TopDog, Hardcore, Speed Demon, Casual and Training), custom seeds to race friends on the same track, ship upgrades, colour customisation and support for your own music or YouTube in the background.
It suits anyone who likes short, twitchy score-chasing runs, and it costs nothing to try.
How to play Vecter
- Install Vecter from Steam; it is free.
- Start the daily track from the main menu.
- Steer around obstacles and shoot through what you can as the speed rises.
- Keep going as long as you can; the run ends when you crash.
- Check your place on the day's leaderboard before the timer runs out.

Tips
- Some days' tracks are slower than others, as the developer points out; a good day is a chance to reach the top.
- Watch the billboards: they mark where the best players crashed.
- Use Training mode to get used to the speed before chasing the daily board.
