Tempo
Five one-tap timing rounds a day: how good is your internal clock?
Every day: A numbered set of five one-tap timing rounds (Stop, Intercept, Tunnel, Rhythm, React), the same for every player that day. New puzzle: Once a day.

Tempo is a free browser game that tests your sense of timing. Each day brings five short rounds, the same for everyone, and each one comes down to a single well-timed tap. Every round is scored from 0 to 100 and your daily result is the average.
About Tempo
Tempo is a daily timing gauntlet by Yuki Andersen, who also makes the daily browser games Floe, Glimpse, Gauge and Wordpull. A full daily takes about a minute and needs no sign-up: you open the page, press Play Today's Daily and work through five rounds.
Each round tests a different kind of timing. In Stop you freeze a marker sweeping along a bar on the target. In Intercept a dot orbits a ring and you tap when it is centred in a gate. In Tunnel a dot moving at a steady speed disappears and you tap when it should cross the far line. In Rhythm a ring pulses four beats and you carry on the beat for four more taps, and in React you wait for a GO flash after an unpredictable delay.
Every round scores 0 to 100, with full marks for a frame-perfect tap and partial credit for being close. The day's score is the average, shown with a five-square trail you can copy as a challenge link. The results screen also shows how many players ran the gauntlet in the last 24 hours, the best score and where yours ranks, without names.
The menu tracks your last seven days as a chain of squares and keeps your personal best. A practice mode lets you warm up first. It suits anyone who wants a quick daily test of reflexes and rhythm rather than words or numbers.
How to play Tempo
- Press Play Today's Daily.
- In each round, watch the moving marker, dot or pulsing ring.
- Tap once at the moment the round asks for: on the target, in the gate, at the hidden line, on the beat or on GO.
- See your 0 to 100 score for the round and move to the next.
- After five rounds, check your average and how you rank among today's players, then share the trail.

Tips
- For Tunnel, count the time the dot takes to cross a known stretch before it vanishes, then keep counting.
- In Rhythm, a steady tempo matters more than starting exactly on the first beat.
- Use the practice mode to warm up before the daily, since only the daily counts for your streak.
