Daily Holes is a free browser golf game with one new nine-hole course a day. Every shot is about timing a swing meter, and because the course is generated from the date, everyone plays the same holes and compares scores on the daily leaderboard.

About Daily Holes

Daily Holes generates a fresh nine-hole course each day and numbers it as a round. The site states that the course is generated from the date, so everyone in the world gets the same nine holes, the same wind and the same hazards in the same places, with no seed to reroll. If a hole plays badly, it played badly for everyone.

Play is simple: tap to aim down the fairway, drag to look around the hole, then stop the swing meter to set the power; a clean strike rolls out much further. Holes can include eight kinds of hazard, such as a burn (a river across the fairway), island crossings, gusts of wind, island greens, portals, a sweeping arm, cart paths and putt rings on the green that decide your score.

After your round you see your total, your rank for the day and which holes you aced, plus a shot-by-shot replay of the best card. A weekly board ranks players from Monday to Sunday, and you can add friends by code, challenge them on recent courses and set up private leagues. Past courses cannot be replayed for score. No account is needed to play; signing in keeps a streak and puts you on the leaderboard, and optional memberships add an unranked target range and more practice.

It suits casual golf fans and anyone who likes a short, fair skill test with the same conditions for all.

Tips

  • A clean strike in the pure band rolls much further, so practise the timing in Practice mode.
  • Check the wind before every shot; it is the same for everyone that day.
  • Cart paths make the ball run twice as far as fairway, which can help or hurt.
  • Watch the replay of the best card to see the lines that work on today's holes.
