LINK
Rate itA four-letter Zelda word to find in five tries, once a day.
Every day: One hidden four-letter word from The Legend of Zelda a day, the same for every player, to find in five guesses. New puzzle: Midnight, your local time.

LINK is a small Wordle-style game themed on The Legend of Zelda. Each day there is one hidden four-letter word from the series, and you have five guesses to find it, with coloured tiles showing which letters are right. Guesses can be ordinary English words or Zelda names.
About LINK
LINK is a word game on the Zwelda site, built on the Wordle formula but shrunk to four letters and five rows, with every answer taken from The Legend of Zelda. The example words in its rules give the flavour: ZORA, RITO and LINK itself, the names of races, places and characters from the games.
Each guess must be a valid four-letter word, either from the English dictionary or from the Zelda universe, so you can open with a common word and switch to Zelda names once you have a few letters. After you press Enter the tiles change colour: dark green for a letter in the right spot, gold for a letter that is in the word but elsewhere, and grey for a letter that is not in the word. A colourblind mode swaps these for orange and blue.
There is one puzzle a day for everyone, and a new one appears at midnight. The game keeps your statistics and streak in the browser, has a dark theme, and needs no account. It suits Zelda players who want a quick daily round shorter than a five-letter Wordle.
How to play LINK
- Type a four-letter word, either an English word or a name from the Zelda games, and press Enter.
- Read the tiles: dark green means the letter is in the right spot, gold means it is in the word but in another spot, grey means it is not in the word.
- Use what you learned to choose your next guess.
- Find the day's word within five guesses, then check your stats and come back after midnight for the next one.
Tips
- Open with an ordinary English word that uses common letters, since dictionary words are accepted as guesses.
- With only four letters, a gold tile leaves just three other places to try: rule them out one by one.
- Think of short Zelda names (races, regions, characters) once you have two or three letters fixed.
- Turn on the colourblind mode in the settings if the green and gold are hard to tell apart.
