Hue Complete Me result card from Puzzmo, showing a finished board of blue, purple and green tiles with time, score and move count

Hue Complete Me is a wordless colour puzzle on Puzzmo. The day's board is a gradient that has been shuffled, and you swap tiles two at a time until every shade sits between the right neighbours. The free daily board is 5x5, and Puzzmo Plus adds a larger bonus board.

About Hue Complete Me (Puzzmo)

Hue Complete Me is a colour sorting puzzle that Puzzmo added to its daily line-up in July 2026, first as an experimental game for subscribers. Zach Gage announced it on Bluesky for Puzzmo. There are no words or numbers: just a grid of coloured squares that, once sorted, blend smoothly from one shade to the next across the board.

Each day the board arrives scrambled, the same for every player. You pick two tiles to swap them, and tiles that land in their right place are fixed so you can build outward from them. The game keeps a clock and counts your moves, and the result card shows your time, score, moves and how many swaps put two tiles right at once. The free board on 2 October 2026 was 5x5, with a 7x7 bonus board for Puzzmo Plus members.

It is a quiet, visual puzzle that rewards a good eye for small differences in shade rather than vocabulary or arithmetic. People who enjoy colour sorting games such as I Love Hue will feel at home, and it makes a calm counterpart to Puzzmo's word and logic games.

How to play Hue Complete Me (Puzzmo)

  1. Open today's Hue Complete Me on Puzzmo and look at the scrambled grid of colours.
  2. Pick a tile and then a second one to swap them.
  3. Tiles that reach their right place lock in, so use them as fixed points for the shades around them.
  4. Keep swapping until the whole board forms one smooth gradient, then compare your time, moves and score.

Tips

  • Start from the corners and edges, where the shades are most different from each other.
  • Look for a swap that puts both tiles in the right place at once; the result card counts these as doubles.
  • When two shades look alike, compare each one with its neighbours in both directions rather than on its own.
  • Fewer moves and a quicker time both help your score, so think before each swap.
