hello wordl is a simple Wordle-style game that lets you play as much as you like. Its Today's link gives the day's shared word, while the default mode deals random words, and a slider changes the word length; you get six tries with the familiar letter colours.
About hello wordl
hello wordl was one of the early Wordle remakes and keeps the look plain: a grid of six rows, an on-screen keyboard and a short message line. Each guess colours its letters to show which are right and in place, which are in the word elsewhere, and which are not in it.
The page opens on a random game, so you can play again straight after finishing. The Today's link at the top switches to the daily puzzle, which is the same for every player that day. A Letters slider changes how long the word is, and a Give up button reveals the answer when you are stuck. You can also share a link to a particular game so a friend plays the same word.
Settings include a hard mode and colour options. It suits Wordle players who want more than one puzzle a day, or longer and shorter words than five letters.
How to play hello wordl
- Click Today's to play the daily word, or stay on the random game.
- Type a word of the set length and press Enter.
- Read the colours: right letter and place, in the word elsewhere, or not in the word.
- Find the word within six guesses; share a link to challenge a friend with the same word.
Tips
- Set the Letters slider before starting: longer words give more letters to work with but fewer candidates.
- Use the random games to practise openers before the daily one.
