Gridl How to Play panel: drag pieces onto the 8x8 grid, clear lines, combos, and the daily challenge with the same pieces for everyone

Gridl is a free block-placing puzzle in the style of 1010!. Drag pieces onto an 8x8 grid, fill whole rows or columns to clear them, and chain clears for combos. In Daily mode everyone gets the same pieces and one attempt, so scores can be compared.

About Gridl

Gridl is a browser block puzzle. A tray offers three pieces at a time; you drag each onto the 8x8 board, and when all three are placed a new set appears. Filling an entire row or column clears it for points, clearing two or more lines at once scores a combo bonus, and clearing on consecutive placements builds a streak multiplier. The game ends when none of the remaining pieces will fit.

Tapping the title switches to Daily mode. There, the piece sequence is generated from the date, so every player gets the same pieces, and you have one attempt per day. Afterwards you can share your board and score. Free Play is endless and lets you rotate pieces by tapping them, and there are Easy, Normal and Hard settings and an undo.

It suits anyone who likes Tetris-style tidying and wants a fair daily score to compare with friends.

How to play Gridl

  1. Open gridlgame.com and tap the title to switch to Daily mode.
  2. Drag each of the three pieces in the tray onto the 8x8 grid.
  3. Fill whole rows or columns to clear them; clear several at once for combos.
  4. Keep going until no piece fits, then share your score; you get one daily attempt.

Tips

  • Keep a 3x3 space free for the largest pieces.
