Gridlock (daily block puzzle)
Place the same daily sequence of blocks as everyone else on a 9x9 grid, one try, for the global leaderboard.
Every day: A daily sequence of block pieces that is the same for all players, played once on a 9x9 grid and ranked on a global leaderboard. New puzzle: Daily.

Gridlock is a free block puzzle in the style of Block Sudoku with a daily twist: every player gets the exact same sequence of pieces each day and one attempt to score as high as possible. You drop shapes onto a 9x9 grid and clear full rows, columns or 3x3 squares, chaining clears for combos, until no piece fits.
About Gridlock (daily block puzzle)
Gridlock, from the small studio Aeterna, came out on Steam in April 2026. The board is a 9x9 grid divided into nine 3x3 squares, and you are given block shapes to drag onto it. Filling a complete row, column or 3x3 square clears it and scores points, and clearing on consecutive placements builds a combo multiplier, with bigger bonuses for clearing several areas at once. The game ends when none of your pieces can fit.
The Daily Challenge is what sets it apart from the many block puzzles of this kind. Each day every player receives the same sequence of pieces, so luck of the draw is taken out and the result depends on placement. You get one shot at it, and scores go onto a shared global leaderboard.
Free play gives random pieces for practice at any time, with local high scores, and an ad can buy a second chance there. The game is free, runs on Windows, Mac and Linux including Steam Deck, and also uses Google Play Games achievements on Android.
It suits fans of block-placing puzzles who want a fair daily contest.
