Rate itHunt down today's country from four clues per guess.
Every day: One hidden country a day, the same for every player, found with unlimited guesses and scored by how many you needed, with a daily leaderboard. New puzzle: Midnight London time.

Find the Country is a daily geography hunt on Quizebra. Each guess returns four clues about the hidden country (continent, more or fewer people, bigger or smaller, and a compass direction), and your score is how many guesses you needed.
About Find the Country (Quizebra)
Find the Country is one of Quizebra's free daily geography challenges. Each day one of 197 countries is hidden, the same for everyone, and the daily pick works through a shuffled list so each comes up once before the list repeats.
You type a country and get four clues back: whether it shares the target's continent, an arrow for whether the target has more or fewer people, an arrow for whether it is bigger or smaller, and one of eight compass points towards it, measured along the great circle. The size arrows turn red when the gap is five times or more. Every guess is shaded on a world map, so the search narrows visibly as well.
There is no guess limit, no timer and no giving up, and fewer guesses is better on the daily leaderboard. Figures come from the CIA World Factbook and continents from Natural Earth. It is free, with no account and no ads, and practice rounds stay open afterwards.
It suits players of Worldle and Countryle who like a slower deduction round with no kilometre distances, only direction and size.
How to play Find the Country (Quizebra)
- Open Find the Country and press Start Playing.
- Type a country and pick it from the list.
- Read the four clues: continent, population arrow, area arrow and compass direction.
- Use them to choose your next guess; each guess is shaded on the map.
- Keep guessing until you find the country, then compare your count on the leaderboard.
Tips
- Open with a mid-sized country such as Austria or Hungary so both size arrows split the field.
- Let the compass arrow choose the region and the size arrows choose the country within it.
- Bearings follow the globe, so from Britain Japan points north-east.
