Geodle
Find the day's country from how its population, climate, religion and size compare with your guesses.
Every day: One numbered mystery country a day, the same for everyone on that date; you have seven guesses, each compared with the answer on continent, population, landlocked status, main religion, average temperature and area. New puzzle: Midnight in your own time zone; the game counts days by your device's date.

Geodle is a daily country guessing game built on demographics rather than maps. Each guess is checked against the mystery country on six facts: continent, population, whether it is landlocked, its most common religion, its average temperature and its surface area. Green means a match, and arrows tell you whether to go higher or lower. You have seven tries.
About Geodle
Geodle is a small browser game by muhashi, with a numbered daily puzzle that has run since May 2022. Each day there is one secret country, and you have seven guesses to find it.
After each guess the game lays out six facts about your country next to colour codes for how they compare with the answer. Continent, landlocked status and most common religion are a plain match or miss. Population, average temperature and surface area count as a match when they are within 10 percent of the answer's, and otherwise show an arrow up or down so you know which way to move. A guess of Australia might tell you the answer is on another continent, has a similar population, is also coastal and is hotter.
That makes Geodle a game of narrowing ranges rather than reading a map. A good second guess is a country that splits the remaining possibilities on population and climate at the same time. Your result can be shared as rows of coloured squares without the answer, and settings switch temperature to Fahrenheit and area to square miles.
Besides the daily there is an unlimited Quick Play mode with random countries for practice.
How to play Geodle
- Open the daily Geodle and type any country.
- Read the six tiles for your guess: continent, population, landlocked, religion, temperature and area.
- Green means a match; for population, temperature and area, an arrow shows whether the answer is higher or lower.
- Use those clues to choose your next country; you have seven guesses.
- Share your grid of coloured squares when you are done.
Tips
- Start with a large, mid-sized country so the arrows split the field on population and area.
- Religion and landlocked status rule out whole regions at once; use them early.
- Temperature narrows latitude: a much warmer answer points towards the tropics.
- Within 10 percent counts as a match, so a green population tile means you are close in size, not exact.
