Netdle Countries
Rate itName the mystery country from a network graph of the countries around it.
Every day: One mystery country a day, shown as a star at the centre of a network graph of its neighbours, each marked by first letter, coast, population and area. New puzzle: Once a day.

Netdle Countries draws the day's mystery country as a star in a small network graph, linked to the countries it borders. Each neighbour is a circle showing only its first letter, coloured for landlocked or coastal, shaded by population and sized by land area. You read the graph and name the country.
About Netdle Countries
Netdle is a daily network puzzle: the answer sits at the centre of a graph and you work it out from what it is connected to. In the Countries mode the star is the mystery country and the lines are its land borders. Island countries with no land border are linked to their three closest countries instead.
The circles are its neighbours, and each carries a few clues. The letter is the country's first letter. Orange means landlocked and teal means coastal. A darker colour means a bigger population, and a bigger circle a bigger land area.
You type your guess in the box under the graph, with a timer running. The graph can be dragged, zoomed and exported as a picture.
The same site has two Movies modes, easy and hard, where the mystery is a film linked to the actors who appeared in it.
How to play Netdle Countries
- Look at the star in the middle: that is the mystery country.
- Read each neighbouring circle: first letter, landlocked or coastal, population shade and size.
- Work out which country has that set of neighbours.
- Type it in the guess box under the graph.

Tips
- Start with the biggest circle: a large neighbour with a known first letter narrows the region fast.
- Count the landlocked neighbours: few countries border several of them.
- A country linked to exactly three neighbours may be an island using its closest countries.
