GeoPath for Oct 5: Syria to Italy with both flags at the top, the two countries' shapes on a dark globe, and a box to type a country

GeoPath is JordGlobe's daily route puzzle. You are given two countries, such as Syria and Italy, and you name a neighbour, then a neighbour of that, until the chain of land borders joins them, in as few moves as you can.

About GeoPath (JordGlobe)

GeoPath shows the day's start and end countries with their flags at the top of the screen and their shapes floating on a dark globe. You type the name of a country that borders your chain and press the arrow; each correct country appears on the globe, and the path grows until the two ends meet by land.

The counter shows how many moves you have, and hints are available as flags, a globe view or letters when you are stuck. Each day has a Normal and a Hard route, dated and the same for every player, and a date menu reaches earlier days.

It plays much like Travle, but on JordGlobe's 3D globe beside its Country Links and Daily Trivia games. It suits players who know their borders and enjoy finding the shortest way across a continent.

Tips

  • Plan the whole route in your head before typing: a wrong turn costs moves.
  • Use the flag hint to identify a neighbour you can picture but not name.
