Flank (Mind Loft)
Name every country that borders today's country before three strikes.
Every day: One country a day, the same for every player: name every country that shares a land border with it before three wrong countries end the run. New puzzle: Midnight US Eastern Time.

Flank is a free daily geography game from Mind Loft. One country is revealed each day, and you type every country that shares a land border with it. Typos are free, but a real country that is not a neighbour costs a strike, and three strikes end the run.
About Flank (Mind Loft)
Flank tests whether you can picture a map. The day's country is named at the top, the number of its land neighbours is shown as empty slots, and you type them one at a time. A correct neighbour banks itself as soon as you finish typing it; a misspelling costs nothing, but naming a real country that does not border the target is a strike, and three strikes end the game.
The week has a shape. Monday starts with a country that has only one border, the difficulty climbs a step each day, and Sunday brings a country like China or Russia with fourteen neighbours and a fourth strike to use. Everyone plays the same country each day, so the leaderboard ranks most borders named, then fewest wrong guesses, then time.
A new country arrives every day at midnight Eastern. Mind Loft's other geography dailies are Atlas, a twenty-five-question quiz with one life, Span, a border chain, and Ping, a secret city.
How to play Flank (Mind Loft)
- Open Flank and press Start to see the day's country and the number of neighbours.
- Type a country you think shares a land border with it.
- Correct neighbours fill a slot; a real country that does not border it costs a strike.
- Name all of them before you use up three strikes.
Tips
- Go around the country's border in one direction in your head so you do not skip a neighbour.
- Only land borders count, so leave out countries across a sea or strait.
- Small countries and enclaves are easy to forget; think about microstates on the border.
