Clipingo
A music quiz app with seven modes and one shared song to guess every day.
Every day: A Daily Challenge with the same new song for every player worldwide each day. You guess it from a clip that grows longer, and scores go on weekly and all-time Game Center rankings. New puzzle: Once a day (the listing does not state the time).

Clipingo is a music quiz for iPhone, iPad, Mac and Apple Watch with seven ways to play, from naming a song from a one-second clip to putting songs in order of release. Its Daily Challenge gives every player in the world the same new song each day, ranked on Game Center. There are no ads, no subscription and no account.
About Clipingo
Clipingo is built around short clips of songs. In Guess the Song a clip starts at one second and grows longer, and you pick the right title from five options; a first-try answer is worth the most points, and each extra second or wrong answer costs some. Other modes ask for the release year, the album from a fragment of its cover, the artist, the featured artist on a track, which of two songs is older, and the right order for a set of songs. You can pick collections such as top charts, decades and genres from pop and rock to jazz and country.
The Daily Challenge is one new song a day, the same for all players worldwide. Your result counts toward a weekly leaderboard and an all-time ranking on Game Center, and because the app syncs across devices you keep one ranking wherever you play.
Throughout the year there are special events, such as Halloween, Christmas, Eurovision and the World Cup, with limited-time modes, special songs and badges that stay in your achievements after the event ends. You can also share a link so a friend plays your exact challenge.
Clipingo has no ads, no tracking and no accounts, and needs no subscription. It supports VoiceOver, Dynamic Type and high contrast, comes in many languages, and is made by Gorka Ertzilla. It came out in May 2026.

Tips
- Guess early when you are confident: each extra second of clip lowers the score.
- A wrong answer replays the song with more time and the same five options, so rule out the obvious misses.
- Play Guess the Song by decade to train your ear for the era the daily might come from.
- Events add songs for a limited time; play them before they end to keep the badge.
